90-year-old Robert “Duke” O’Donnell of Cardiff-by-the-Sea, CA appears on episode #388 of Hometown Heroes, debuting October 10, 2015. A native of Berwyn, IL, O’Donnell served as a B-17 bombardier with the 303rd Bomb Group, 358th Bomb Squadron, operating out of Molesworth, England during World War II.
