97-year-old Al Skaret of Seattle, WA appears on episode #491 of Hometown Heroes, airing September 29 – October 1, 2017. Born in Canada to immigrants from Norway, Al came to the U.S. as a toddler. He has spent almost all of his 97 years in Seattle, where he still lives in the home he built with his own hands.
