93-year-old Les Novaresi of Stockton, CA appears on episode #569 of Hometown Heroes, airing March 28-31, 2019. One of three brothers to serve in World War II and the Korean War, Les fought in the Battle of Okinawa with Company I, 17th Infantry Regiment, 7th Infantry Division.

After his Army experience during World War II and his Air Force service during the Korean War, Les went on to a 37-year career in Law Enforcement. He rose to the rank of Deputy Chief with the Stockton Police Department, also becoming a state champion marksman in Practical Police Course competition.
