92-year-old Jerry Deitch of Las Vegas, NV appears on episode #568 of Hometown Heroes, airing March 21-24, 2019. A native of Brooklyn, NY, Deitch landed on Normandy’s Utah Beach with Naval Combat Demolition Unit 30 on June 6, 1944.
