88-year-old Sherman Kishi of Livingston, CA appears on episode #283 of Hometown Heroes, debuting October 5, 2013. The interview was recorded on the family farm where he was born, property the Kishis had to vacate in 1942 after Executive Order 9066 paved the way for the removal of more than 120,000 Japanese-Americans from the western U.S.
