Dr. Brookshier passed away April 14th, 2021 at the age of 97.

97-year-old Dr. Russell Brookshier of Hanford, CA appears on episode #644 of Hometown Heroes, airing September 3-7, 2020. A native of Burkburnett, TX, Brookshier piloted B-24s in the China Burma India Theater of World War II with the 1330th Army Air Force Base Unit.
