99-year-old Vic Freudenberger of San Luis Obispo, CA appears on episode #609 of Hometown Heroes, airing January 2-6, 2020. A native of Philadelphia, PA, Freudenberger served 22 years in the Marine Corps after enlisting in 1938.

Proud to know this gentleman. Amazingly sharp and quick witted. He left out attending EOD School in 1949/50, where he graduated number 1 out of 27 on Jan 6th, 1950. 70 years ago today. He did mention later that he was an EOD Officer in Korea. Looking forward to a great birthday celebration.
